Rise, my vampires,
for we shall have the night,
that humans took from us for centuries.
We shall overcome,
with blood in our fangs,
and blood in our hearts.
For we vampires have immortality,
with super strength, speed, and sensory powers.
We fight together with honor and bravery,
that makes us immortal.
We hunt for blood, we hunt for destiny,
And we fight for our beloved one's.
Come my brothers and sisters,
let us show what humans don't have,
by attacking them with full power,
from our powers of blood,
to protect our world of Darkness of Flesh & Blood.
Let the chaos begin.

This is my 9th poetry entry. This is my vampire poem, dedicated to Vampire lovers out there.

A Place Among The Undead is an upcoming documentary film, directed by both Juliet Landau (Drusilla from Buffy, The Vampire Slayer) and her husband, Deverill Weekes. It is a vampire documentary that tells an exploration of the cultural obsession with vampires and what they reveal about the human psyche. Juliet has a rare vantage point, having portrayed the iconic vampire, Drusilla on Joss Whedon’s BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and spin-off show ANGEL. The film delves into true crime, reality, suspense when people take the fantasy of vampirism too far. It chronicles the fun, imaginative, creative side and alternatively, the dark, disturbing side. Interviewees include Gary Oldman (DRACULA (1992 film), HARRY POTTER franchise, DARK KNIGHT franchise), Anne Rice ((INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE), Robert Patrick (FROM DUSK TILL DAWN –the series) and Mariana Klaveno (TRUE BLOOD.) + among others.
